AAF 2012-13 NSAC Campaign: Glidden paint

This is a campaign developed by the Nittany Group, a Penn State University chapter of the AAF National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC). Each year students are competing against other college chapters to develop the best possible campaign for that NSAC sponsors. For the 2012-13 competition, the Nittany Group developed a campaign for Glidden paint sold exclusively at Wal-Mart.

This entire campaign is a class course that can only be taken by senior. During the development of this campaign, I was part of the extended team. The extend team are members who have chosen the option to audit the course. Students who choose this option will still be liable for the same level of work that any member of the class would be required to complete and turn in. During this year, I was a junior and not able to take the course for credit, instead opting to audit the course.

I participated in a variety of positions and working on different aspects when developing this campaign. At the beginning, I worked on developing a foundation for the target audience using secondary research sources. I then worked closely with the creative team to develop a strategy and formulate potential options in media strategies. After these categories were completed, I worked closely with all the presentors, assisting them in their preperation for the presentation of the Nittany Group's campaign findings to a panel of judges. I also assisted in providing technical support for the presentors and our team before and during the presentation preparation.

Bellow is a culmination of the work completed for the 2012-13 NSAC client sponsor, Glidden paint.
